for example if you want to scan pcanyware servers arround your local area
network, just try on a linux box a simple ping-sweep to the port: 5631
(example using nmap:  nmap -p 5631 192.168.0.* ) . nmap is now avariable for
nt & 2k versions too!! ( www.insecure.org/nmap )

Short of using ISS or war dialing, does anyone know of other
tools/methods to locate installed versions of PC Anywhere on client
machines?
