I'm moving house soon so have spent quite a bit of time in my local bank recently sorting out mortgages. While sat in the meeting rooms I've noticed a groove under the desk on the client side, it runs the full length of the desk and is about a centimeter deep with a wire of some kind running the full length then doing a u-turn and going back. One side of the groove goes off towards the staff side of the desk so I couldn't trace it to its end point. I've felt this in three different desks I've sat at so not just a one off. Anyone any idea what it could be?
Just had the suggestion that it could be a hearing aid induction loop, sounds reasonable. Robin
