Does anybody use scotty? Is this for anonymous browsing? What's the main difference between VPN and Tor?
Judging from their documentation, it's not an anonymous browsing system, it's a proxy filtering bypass system. It tunnels your requests in a surreptitious manner across your filtered proxy to an endpoint that allows you to browse freely. It's not untraceable to you, as you have to set up the endpoint someplace and there will be logs on proxy side as well that you accessed the endpoint. -- Ben Jackson - Mayhemic Labs bbj () mayhemiclabs com - http://www.mayhemiclabs.com - +1-508-296-0267 "Assume that what is in the power of one man to do, is in the power of another" _______________________________________________ Pauldotcom mailing list Pauldotcom () mail pauldotcom com http://mail.pauldotcom.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pauldotcom Main Web Site: http://pauldotcom.com
