Google tracking reverse lookup - How?

I came across these sites the other day which take a Google tracking
ID and show all the sites which are using it:

http://www.ewhois.com/analytics-id/UA-7503551/
http://www.websitelooker.com/analytics/UA-7503551

Anyone know how they work? They are great for finding associated sites
when testing but it would be nice to do the look up myself rather than
ask a third party. There is a definite script in there if I can find
out how to get the data.
