I've run a Nessus patch audit on a Red Hat Enterprise 5.2 server and it tells me there 161 missing patches. This server does not have internet connectivity. My question is how do I apply all of these patches offline?
Hi Almost not possible. You can host an in house satellite server[0] (or the open source project Spacewalk, based on RHN Satellite[1] or normal yum repository if later than RHEL4). There is also a way to copy all RPMs from repository to your machine and then do the update. But it is really a mess. cheers Sven [0] http://www.redhat.com/red_hat_network/ [1] http://spacewalk.redhat.com/ _______________________________________________ Pauldotcom mailing list Pauldotcom () mail pauldotcom com http://mail.pauldotcom.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pauldotcom Main Web Site: http://pauldotcom.com
