Not really, China and Russia kind of follow their own rules. China does have patents and copyrights, but there is so much infringement that it makes it hard to police and stop. Just you wait until there's a Chinese Irongeek ;) On Mon, Nov 15, 2010 at 1:00 AM, Adrian Crenshaw <irongeek () irongeek com> wrote:
Hi All, I know some of you have also been playing with the Teensy boards for making PHUKD devices. I stumbled across this today: http://www.pjrc.com/teensy/counterfeit.html and was suspicious. One of the comments there pointed to: http://www.pjrc.com/teensy/counterfeit.html Ok, I don't have a huge problem with people making clones that looks almost exactly like something else, but to slap someone else's logo on something and claim they made it? This is not the only instance I've encountered. I ordered an mp3 play awhile back, and I knew it was nothing Apple related (The ad did not claim it to be, and did not want it to be), but the maker slapped an Apple logo on it. Is there really no trademark law that can be enforced between China and other countries?
