Is anyone going early, like working ShmooCon Labs? I will be there on
Thursday morning (arriving DC Wed night, but not staying @ Wardman) and will
have at least one large (2Tb) disk and could have others. If anyone is going
to be there early with tables, we can go ahead and load these up, to have
multiple sources (unless that causes administrative issues.....

I am planning on bringing a tower I use as a file server which has (4)
250GB
drives as my means to bring home the tables. I am more than happy to
let
the PDC crew and Robin to have access to it as a secondary unit if we
begin
to run low on space, add it to the network and let it roll. Once back
home
I can then allow people to leech off it for those not attending
Shmoocon, I
am not going to be doing anything on my connection but surf the
internet for
quite sometime due to obligations.

Sounds good, thanks for the offer.

If we have have enough network access then maybe we could setup some
kind of rsync between the two and have them both serving files. We can
sort something out on the day.

For de-duplication I'll try to go through it periodically and see what
we
have and check for space and duplicates.

I think we have enough hardware and I assume we can leave the kit on
the pdc
stall as most of the kit is Darrens.

Anyone have some ideas on how to reduce duplicate tables? This will
save
space as well.

Where we planning on storing the box and how are people planning on
getting the files?

I would like to have it either at the pauldotcom table or in someones
room so our hardware is secure, someplace we can trust since it is
going
to take forever to upload/download the tables.

If anyone needs I can bring a Cisco 3500XL 24 Port switch, just let me
know if it is helpful.
