Another nice feature that Scapy can use is that with the python depending on your platform you can either freeze (using the freeze.py included in the tools for python) or convert to exe (using py2exe with some tweaks) for distribution. This allows you to build some purpose constructed programs to distribute that rely on Scapy for specific purposes and require not have the end user or system to have python on their system. Comes in very handy when you need to have a standalone program for people to give a try. On Wed, Dec 2, 2009 at 11:08 AM, Fraser Scott <fraser.scott at gmail.com> wrote:

HDM shipped a modified version of Scruby with MSF for a while but then dropped it in favour of something else which I can't remember the name of.Scapy is sweet. I found it very useful using tcpreplay (was SOAKing DNS geo-targeting using a large number of queries from spoofed src addresses). _______________________________________________ Pauldotcom mailing list Pauldotcom at mail.pauldotcom.com http://mail.pauldotcom.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pauldotcom Main Web Site: http://pauldotcom.com
