Just me, or did David Rice do some shark jumping?

I have to know:
1) I am just being a bigger ass than usual (Hey, I have the cert)
or
2) do others think David Rice slipped on the old leather jacket and
did some shark-jumping during the interview in ep 160
or
3) all of the above

I am not implying he is anything other than a very smart dude, but
that doesn't prevent him from saying dumb things.

I will write up my thoughts when I get time, but in case you hadn't
noticed, it is the weekend before B-Sides/BH/DC and time is scarce...
