Because you're in Vegas:

1. Do not plan to use any ATMs at all, take enough cash and use credit
cards for as much as is practical. Even the clean ones will rip you off
in fees. Last year, a friend of mine complained about an $8 fee to
withdraw $40.

2. Keep a wad of singles in your pocket (this is separate from your
StripperCon stash). The Vegas service economy is highly dependent on
tips. You will be better off keeping a small supply of $1 handy.

3. Try ask twitter.com/vegascabbie for a ride from the airport if he's
working when your flight arrives. He likes podcasters and will not rip
you off. He also has first hand tips for eating on the cheap on the Strip.

Looks like I won't need a place to crash Wed (I get in on Thur).
However, other Defcon tips would help, like:

1. What is the best way to get to the hotel from the airport.
2. Packing recommendations (I've not flow since I was like 4).
3. Eating on the cheap.

Thanks,
Adrian
