Hi Guys, Have any of you successfully applied for the SANS work study program? I had a try last year and got rejected, I know these positions are highly sort after and the compititon level is going to be high. I just wanted to know if any of you had any tips on applying.
I've tried 3 times and got it once despite each time having a recommendation from the course instructor. I think they are looking for people who are going to go home, train up and then want to run their own courses as mentors working up to being instructors. So I think my tip would be to not sell yourself on how good you are but on how much you want to go away and spread the SANS word and run their courses. I'd love to run them but the local uni is already doing it so there is no way I could compete. Robin
