your log management tools of choice?

Since the topic has widened a bit- not a "management" tool, but Mandiant's Highlighter is a very handy log/text file viewer with some nice features. It is Windows-only unfortunately, but it is a slick little utility. Latest version is no longer RAM-bound, it only loads the active part of the file in memory so you can work with stupid-large logs. Free, but registration is required- fake it if you want, but I haven't been spammed by them. Jack
