Hi all, Not sure if anyone saw, but gmail has been rolling out UI indicators for MTAs which don't use TLS: https://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2016/02/making-email-safer-for-you-posted-by.html I was surprised to see this indicator on mail from oss-security. Does anyone know who has the keys to `list.openwall.com` so they can turn on STARTTLS for outbound email? Alex
Why bother? The content isn't confidential in any way. It's an open mailing list that anyone can read. If you're worried about authenticity, SPF and other technologies take care of that on the server side and you can use PGP just fine to sign your messages and ensure it by yourself that way. -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen/Kind Regards, Noel Kuntze GPG Key ID: 0x63EC6658 Fingerprint: 23CA BB60 2146 05E7 7278 6592 3839 298F 63EC 6658
