ipconfig errors with npcap installed

Under Windows 7 32-bit running the command

ipconfig /renew

with npcap 0.99r5 installed gives the following:

An error occurred while renewing interface Npcap Loopback Adapter : 
The system cannot find the file specified.

An error occurred while releasing interface Loopback Pseudo-Interface 
1 : The system cannot find the file specified.

Also when I boot my system with this version of npcap installed I 
seem to have no internet connectivity.  Removing npcap restores 
network connectivity.  I'm still investigating this though.
