npcap one last time

ok guys here goes

so i went ahead one more time to install this. some errors persist, others are gone. so i installed NPCAP with only
"loopback adapter" option checked. i noticed the same issue on my systray "identyifying". but i now realize why that is
happening. it is set for DHCP! i don't have DHCP set on my net. i do everything statically mainly because the ips of
the DNS/GATEWAY never change for me. once i gave it an ip from my 192 pool (i just threw out 192.168.0.17) i noticed
the "identifying" is now gone...BUT, i still get "no network access". i do see packets have been sent, though none
received. still can't scan with nmap as well as far as for loopback (but the OpenService error is now gone as well). so
is this simply because i gave it an IP out of thin air that ARP won't verify with a Reply back? DHCP simply WILL NOT
WORK for whatever reason. so tell me how to get this to work with the scenario i just laid out. also as far as the
registry issue i had before, what is the exact key i should be seeing? in HKLM/CCS/SERVICES/NPCAP/ i then see 3
standard subkeys. i see the Loopback Adapter as a string value. it has some GUID set. i changed it to my current
adapter GUID (as i was told to last time). still nothing!
