Sal,

Thanks for this report. I assume you are using our release RPMs. I'm not
sure why this hasn't been reported before, but I was able to change our
configure script to not include libsvn_client-1 in LIBS for nmap, but only
in SVN_LIBS used for nmap-update. This should fix the issue in future
releases. The nmap-update RPM does indeed list subversion as a dependency.

Running on CentOS 6.7 patched.



After installing subversion then error is remediated.



1.       Is subversion – version control software needed in the
production version of Nmap7.12?

2.       If needed( subversion-version control software) can this be
included as a pkg dependency in the rpm?
