Zenmap /nmap does not load

Hi Guys,

Just downloaded the latest version  (nmap-6.49BETA6.dmg <https://nmap.org/dist/nmap-6.49BETA6.dmg>) to my MAC running 
OS X EL Capitan Ver 10.11.1 and am having a problem.

Zen map does not work and I get this error in terminal:

MacBook-Pro:~ ********$ nmap
dyld: Library not loaded: /Users/david/macports-10.8/lib/libssl.1.0.0.dylib
  Referenced from: /usr/local/bin/nmap
  Reason: image not found
Trace/BPT trap: 5

One glaring problem is that it is trying to find the lib at Users/david ??? i don’t have a user by that name on my MAC 
!!

i have looked for a resolution, their was a similar problem with Mavericks but that resolution has not worked for me.

any help is much appreciated
