Hi All, Attached is a new entry to nmap-service-probes which allows for the identification of ports running IBM Network Job Entry (or NJE) on IBM mainframes. I had previously submitted a script to accomplish this: http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/2015/q3/276 this script can be removed and replaced with this addition. You can read more about Network Job Entry here:http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSLTBW_2.1.0/com.ibm.zos.v2r1.hasa600/intro.htm The protocol is described here:http://www-05.ibm.com/e-business/linkweb/publications/servlet/pbi.wss?CTY=US&FNC=SRX&PBL=SA22-7539-02 Output: nmap -sV -p 175 10.10.0.200 Starting Nmap 6.49SVN ( https://nmap.org ) at 2015-09-10 12:22 PDT Nmap scan report for 10.10.0.200 Host is up (0.023s latency). PORT STATE SERVICE VERSION 175/tcp open nje IBM Network Job Entry (JES) -- Soldier of Fortran @mainframed767
