List, I've just done an upgrade of libpcap from 1.5.3 to 1.7.3 in a private branch, and I'd like to see if anyone can help test it. In particular, this should solve the problem raised in http://issues.nmap.org/34 of lost packets and performance problems on Linux, but I'm also interested in any portability problems that may have cropped up. Here's how to get the changes: svn co https://svn.nmap.org/nmap-exp/dmiller/nmap-libpcap-1.7 cd nmap-libpcap-1.7 ./configure --with-libpcap=included make && make check Please report any build breakage or other issues you find. Dan
Hi, Built https://svn.nmap.org/nmap-exp/dmiller/nmap-libpcap-1.7/ under Fedora 21 and it compiled fine. Test on sudo ./nmap scanme.nmap.org -A showed no visible issues. Cheers, Jacek
