Nmap Windows 8

Hello,

I have installed Nmap 6.46-setup.exe on my Windows 8 64bit laptop. (It was
the only download I seen for Windows) However, when I try to run a scan it
scans with no results. I also have a Windows 7 laptop with Nmap on it and
it runs scans without a problem. It is a 32 OS and Nmap has been installed
for about 3 years.

Any help would be appreciated.
