Hi folks, I’ve seen a few descriptions possibly similar to the following at seclists.org, but no solutions. I’m running OS 10.9.2 on a very clean MacBook Pro. The Nmap installation is v 6.46, directly from mmap.org. I have XQuartz v 2.7.5 for X11. On startup, Zenmap asks for the password; if entered correctly, it then apparently exits, and nothing happens. Console reliably reports something similar to the following, which admittedly is greek to me: 4/23/14 7:39:42.271 PM launchservicesd[93]: Application App:"Finder" asn:0x0-e00e pid:179 refs=8 @ 0x7fd663610d80 tried to be brought forward, but isn't in fPermittedFrontApps ( ( "LSApplication:0x0-0x74074 pid=1068 "SecurityAgent"")), so denying. : LASSession.cp #1481 SetFrontApplication() q=LSSession 100005/0x186a5 queue 4/23/14 7:39:42.271 PM WindowServer[111]: [cps/setfront] Failed setting the front application to Finder, psn 0x0-0xe00e, securitySessionID=0x186a5, err=-13066 4/23/14 7:39:42.279 PM authexec[1070]: executing /Applications/Utilities/Zenmap.app/Contents/MacOS/zenmap_wrapper.py Thanks in advance. _______________________________________________ Sent through the dev mailing list http://nmap.org/mailman/listinfo/dev Archived at http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/
