nping problem

I just got a new macbook pro and the first program I installed was nmap.
Everything is working fine except for nping.
I get the following error

dyld: Library not loaded: /Users/david/macports-10.5/lib/libssl.1.0.0.dylib
  Referenced from: /usr/local/bin/nping
  Reason: image not found
Trace/BPT trap: 5

I don't have macports installed and I don't know who the user david is.
Any suggestions would be great.
