The issue of Zenmap on Mavericks (OS X 10.9) is related to binary linking of some libraries in the .dmg package. Until a new official .dmg is built, Mavericks users will have to build from source in order to use Zenmap: http://nmap.org/book/inst-macosx.html#inst-macosx-source Note that this only affects the Zenmap front-end. Command-line Nmap 6.40 from the official .dmg is working fine by all accounts. Dan On Sun, Nov 3, 2013 at 8:58 AM, Horst Tebbe <tebbe () alum rpi edu> wrote:
I did a clean install of the zenmapmmap package, and also XQuartz. Nmap seems to be fine, but Zenmap will not start. After asking for admin permission, nothing happens. I have left it in that state for an hour, no change. Also, registered but cannot figure out how to reply to existing posts (there are several on this subject). _______________________________________________ Sent through the dev mailing list http://nmap.org/mailman/listinfo/dev Archived at http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/
