Hello SecLists users, I am struggling to use the fastnmap.pl for some tests that I am doing but the only thing I get is ' Unable to open map for x.y.z.w. ' No such file or directory. ' Do anyone know how this error is fixed? Thank you in advance! Vag
Hi Vag, fastnmap.pl (and corresponding supporting scripts including nwpn.pl) are scripts I wrote several years back and haven't maintained in the last two years. fastnmap.pl is designed for managing very big scans. For example, if you wanted to scan every host in a /16 on all ports, fastnmap.pl allows you to slice this job up and does deadline scheduling to complete the scan in some target timespan. Is this what you're trying to do? I'd suggest describing what you're trying to accomplish with Nmap and then maybe one of us can help. It's unlikely that fastnmap.pl is the right tool for your job.
