Good job, Sean. I have committed something similar in r29686. I found that the problem also existed when using -g or --source-port, which causes a completely different probe matching algorithm to be used. I found that the code to make it work correctly was already mostly in place, but that we were allowing mismatched probes to match because of another bug that I think has now been fixed. So the spurious closed port problem is solved in r29689.
