Does the problem
persist if you delete the /Applications/Zenmap.app directory and
reinstall?

Yes. Clicking the topology tab after a subnet scan still crashes
Zenmap.app, with the same error appearing in the OS X Console:

I'm seeing the same issue, OSX 10.7.4 (11E53), Zenmap 6.0 (.dmg from
web)

Is the reference to /Users/david/macports-10.5 relevant? (There is
no user "david" on my Mac)

I'm on the trail of this problem now. There was a change in the GTK+ 2
configuration that leaves this path that wasn't present before.

I think Drew's issue is different than mine. OS X's Console.app on my
system only shows the padlock.png error after a Zenmap crash, with no
references to a 'david' directory or Macports 10.5.

Hi David,

IIRC, in the console app, I had to expand a line in the log with that
had an arrow (triangle) beside it to see that line,

Yes, you're right. Expanding that entry in console produces the same
kind of output you saw. So I was mistaken -- we are looking at the same
issue.

I too never had macports-10.5 or a david directory on this system.

Thanks for pointing that out.
