1) BUG
пинг диапазона ИП, например:
ping range of IP, such as
nmap --unprivileged -r -n -PS1080 -sn 125.40-47.*.* > ./cache/125.40-47_ping.txt
не даёт результатов, хотя живые хосты имеются в этом диапазоне !;(
no results, although the hosts are alive in this range !;(

пинг отдельного хоста, например:
ping a single host, such as
nmap --unprivileged -r -n -PS1080 -sn 125.40-47.*.* > ./cache/125.40-47_ping.txt
даёт положительный результат!

2) BUG

ICMP пинг не работает с под аднима:
ICMP ping does not work with a adnim:
   nmap -sn remotehelp.pp.ua
   nmap -sn -PE remotehelp.pp.ua
ни один из процессов (nmap, svchost, system) не стартует пинг по протоколу ICMP, да полюбому протоколу ping не стартует вовсе !;( don't work, some process (nmap, svchost, system) not start to ping ICMP protocolg..., don't start ping any process of any protocol !;(
