http, https and http+tunnel

Hi list, Minor annoyance : - if a closed port 443 is encountered, it is reported as "https". - If an open port 443 is encountered, it is reported as "http", tunnel : "ssl". I think that is a bit confusing, especially when trying to make sense of stuff using automated tools, e.g. if you want to filter "https" - and only get the closed ports, or vice versa. Don't know what would be the best solution, but this feature has bitten me at least twice :) Regards, /Martin _______________________________________________ Sent through the nmap-dev mailing list http://cgi.insecure.org/mailman/listinfo/nmap-dev Archived at http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/
