I thought I used to be able to just hit <ENTER> to get more information, but that doesn't seem to be working. You should be able to hit 'd' to increase the debugging level or 'p' to turn on packet tracing. David FifieldUnfortunately, I'm running nmap by calling a shell script with a bunch of variables and stuff in it and when I try those tricks, nothing happens. SYN Stealth Scan Timing: About 98.86% done; ETC: 08:45 (0:01:54 remaining) v d p SYN Stealth Scan Timing: About 98.86% done; ETC: 08:47 (0:01:55 remaining)
Then there's no way I know of. Nmap is reading those keypresses from /dev/tty, so it can't read your keypresses through the shell script. I would start tcpdump and see where traffic is being sent.
