Here's another idea, from @ioerror, "You can use block finder to locate most of a county's ASNs and then pipe that to nmap." Can that be automated? Cuz it's be fun to "nmap iraq" :)
I think it might be better to try and integrate a goip source int a script. this way for normal scripts it can simply give the location of the ip address you are scanning. this could also be use to theoretically scan all ip's in a country allthough im not sure how many people would use that part of the function though. would be good if the geoip information was in a db like sqllite. mm sqllight for nse now that starts to open up some possibilities _______________________________________________ Sent through the nmap-dev mailing list http://cgi.insecure.org/mailman/listinfo/nmap-dev Archived at http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/
