Pls find attached a new version to make the 'nmap.get_interface_info()'
function return nil and an error message on failures as suggested by
Patrick.

If you want to test the patch for bugs a script get_interface.nse is also
attached, but I think it would be better to test it with a real example.

BTW David when you have some time, pls check the Nping/libnetutil
problem I've mentioned in the first mail of this thread. Thx in advance.
