Nmap 5.5: Error compiling our pcap filter: unknown host 'null'

Hello:

 A google search yields zero results for the following error :

            Error compiling our pcap filter: unknown host 'null'

It occurs when performing "nmap -Pn -A www.microsoft.com" as well as a 
few other hosts I have seen.

Without the option -A this error is not given, so my assumption is that 
it is a server configuration.
What sets off this error?
