Ran a scan tonight and got this as a result - Starting Nmap 5.35DC1 (http://nmap.org) at 2010-11-10 21:56 EST nmap: relocation error: /lib/libnss_files.so.2: symbol __rawmemchr, version GLIBC_2.2.5 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference This is a compiled version running on Ubuntu 10.04 (Debian) LTS. Can someone on the list point me to the resolution for this?
Does this happen every time? Does it depend on the command line? Does it keep happening if you recompile? Does it affect any other programs? Is there an earlier version of Nmap that works?
