Hi!

Here are the accomplishments of the week, and the priorities for
next week:

Accomplishments:

* Finished full authentication and encryption support. Now both
parts are able to communicate over an encrypted channel, set
up using four different symmetric keys (two for encryption and
  two for authentication).

* Fixed a bug that caused nsock to fatal() because the same IOD
was being deleted more than once.

* Updated NEP's RFC document with the latest changes (key
derivation and usage of initialization vectors).

* Added the possibility to disable the use of cryptography from the
  command line.

* Fixed a bug that caused a very ugly 'segmentation fault' on
  Windows.

* Fixed a problem that caused Nping to abort on Windows due to a
  stack overflow.

* Done extensive debugging with Valgrind. A few problems were fixed
  (memory leaks, descriptors left open...)

* Added the ability to bind to a specific IP address

* Improved echo server output a bit.

* Fixed a few other bugs.

* Had a meeting with Fyodor and scheduled the next one.

Priorities:

* Add documentation to the man page.
* Work on a few other items listed in todo/nping.txt
* Reorganize verbose and debugging output in echo mode.

Regards,

Luis MartinGarcia.
