By the way, I don't see why you bother redefine socklen_t which is (at least on my system) in sys/types.h. If you remove that from config.h then everything is ok for me.
Thanks for the update. The problem was that the configure script was only looking in <socket.h> for socklen_t, not <sys/types.h>. I think that it is fixed now. Please try it and let me know.
