Does it give an error message when you try to run it, not fit on the screen, or what?
Just as an added data point, Zenmap worked for me when I used to use it on my N810 (which is similar to the N800 but also has a hardware keyboard). Even the graphical topology mapping worked well. I used this package: http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/zenmap/ That package is also in the maemo-extras-devel repository. Note that Nmap 5.00 is included in the "Zenmap" package too. I don't think I've used the very latest version, as I switched to my N900 a while back. The N900 has command-line Nmap in the maemo repository (and it works in my testing), but no Zenmap yet.
