Hello, i have scanned the current git-version of libcap with the newest version of cppcheck. It brought up no severe errors. A lots of style errors are raised. I don't know how important they are for you? I would suggest you try yourself and decide what is important for you and what not. You can download cppcheck on sourceforge: http://cppcheck.wiki.sourceforge.net/ Keep me posted if you have problems using this tool. You can it simply use on the command line (a gui is provided too): $cppcheck -s -a -f -v [source to check] Best regards Ettl Martin -------- Original-Nachricht --------

I get a host unreachable from 209.87.252.134. It's probably a temporary error. Try again later and try their "how to help" link.www.tcpdump.org is quite often down. It's by far not as bad as www.packetfactory.net, though, which is almost always down. ;-) I happen to have libpcap-1.0.0 mirrored here: http://www.openwall.com/scanlogd/#libpcap http://www.openwall.com/scanlogd/lib/libpcap-1.0.0.tar.gz http://www.openwall.com/scanlogd/lib/libpcap-1.0.0.tar.gz.sig Per my records, this was the latest on May 8. I did not check for a newer release since then. Alexander
