Hi! Here are some of the accomplishments of last week and priorities for this week: Accomplishments: * Implemented traceroute mode. * Finished man page (big task). Currently it has 1200 lines on a 80-character wide terminal (Nmap man page has 2900 lines). * Added support for ICMP Timestamp request/reply messages. * Implemented option --data that lets users include custom binary data as payload in sent packets. * Fixed a bug in URG flag parsing. * Fixed bug in tcp window size parsing. * Fixed a bug in ICMP Transmit Timestamp handling. * Fixed a bug in UDP-Unprivileged mode, related to the default dst port. * All calls to output functions like outFatal(), outPrint() etc, have been checked to ensure the specify verbosity level is consistent with the behaviour specified in the man page. * Added two separate debugging levels for nsock tracing info. * Minor fixes in -h output. * Little improvements in packet dispaly: ipippackethdrinfo(). Priorities: * Start porting Nping to Windows. * Add IPv6 support. * Start implementation of Echo Mode. * Finish support for ICMP netmask messages. Regards, Luis. _______________________________________________ Sent through the nmap-dev mailing list http://cgi.insecure.org/mailman/listinfo/nmap-dev Archived at http://SecLists.Org
