To confirm that the script engine runs successfully, try using -v so Nmap displays verbose output. You should then see something like: SCRIPT ENGINE: Initiating script scanning. Initiating SCRIPT ENGINE at 16:35 Completed SCRIPT ENGINE at 16:36, 30.10s elapsed The script you chose appears to only add information to the scan results if the service is vulnerable.
Right on the money as usual. I ran the command w/ -v and it indeed was running the scripting engine. I checked the script and as Rob suggested, it only outputs if a vulnerable state is found. I made a copy of the script to a personal folder and modified it so that "not vulnerable" would print in those cases and sure enough, I got it to output. Thanks Rob! This list is top-notch as always.
