In case it helps with resolving the wireless issue I'm seeing with Vista:

Hopefully those numbers mean something useful. Computer Management tells me
I have four network adapters, although the two VMWare network adapters
(VMNet1 and VMNet8) are currently disabled:

Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller (I believe this is
\Device\NPF_{B5EA1905-7BA2-4A24-AB56-167C7764EC12})
Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (I believe this is
\Device\NPF_{14EFA483-1F71-4688-BD5D-3880992943F5})

I'm not sure what the other device is.

Hi everyone. Anyone who has experienced this problem, please try again
with 4.23RC3. 4.23RC3 will print a message when an interface type is
unrecognized that will help us debug this. The message will look like

_ifcombo_name: Mapping unknown interface type %d to "net".

where %d will be replaced with some number. Please send whatever number
you see to the list.

David Fifield
