The ident scan feature of nmap (removed in version 3.70) is still referenced at http://insecure.org/nmap/nmap_doc.html#ident which confused me for about 5 minutes. Maybe that documentation should be removed? Richard
Hi, Richard, the top of the page says: "WARNING: this page was last updated in 1997 and is completely out of date. If you aren't here for historical purposes, check out the newer docs from the Nmap documentation page." "The Art of Port Scanning" was the name of Fyodor's article in Phrack where Nmap was released (like http://insecure.org/nmap/p51-11.html) Thanks, Kris Katterjohn _______________________________________________ Sent through the nmap-dev mailing list http://cgi.insecure.org/mailman/listinfo/nmap-dev Archived at http://SecLists.Org
