I also have issues with Vista. #nmap --iflist is not working (dumps with no error) #windump dumps with this error: WinDump.exe: PacketGetAdapterNames: The data area passed to a system call is too small. (122)Are you using WinPcap 4.0 as well? What's returned by "windump -V" (capital V)? Have you run windump or nmap from an elevated prompt (i.e. opening it with "run as administrator")? Thanks :) It turned out that it's not winpcap fault. It seems that nmap-4.21ALPHA1[1] is crashing, while my private nmap-4.21ALPHA2[2] build is okay. (even without Administrator privileges) MM.
