RE: nmap 3.81 on windows 2000 errors

According to Fydor nmap 3.8 and 3.81 need winpcap 3.1Beta4 or newer to work.  Check the link from here.

i'm running windows 2000 sp4 and nmap3.81 with winpcap 3.04beta and i get the following error message when trying to 
run a scan:

C:\Program Files\nmap3.81>nmap -d 173.139.93.1

***WinIP*** winpcap present, dynamic linked to: WinPcap version 3.1 beta4 (pack et.dll version 3, 1, 0, 24), based on 
libpcap version 0.8.3

Starting nmap 3.81 ( http://www.insecure.org/nmap ) at 2005-02-18 12:40 Central Standard Time

SIO_ROUTING_INTERFACE_QUERY(173.139.93.1) failed (10014)

any suggestions?
