Re[2]: Portscanning through HTTP proxy?

Hello Alex,

I know of no single port tcp protocols that will not proxy. If you are
willing to employ tunnels or packet wrappers then udp is possible as
well. Netcat does a nice job of wrapping upd with tcp. Obviously you'd
need nc running on both ends.

If you wanted to pass protocols other than IP it may even be possible
to GRE through a proxy. I have not done this but I don't see a reason
why it would not work.

Anyone ever tried a GRE tunnel through a proxy? Would be an
interesting way to pass multicast for instance out of (or into) a
proxy protected network.
