According to:

libnet *is* available for MacOSX.  I don't have a Mac to play with, so I
don't know if it works or not, but even if it doesn't, I'd prefer to see
the development effort go to porting underlying libraries, rather than
re-writing functionality already present in a (mostly) portable library.
