Does anyone have a traceroute path example where transit responds with RFC5837 EO? https://github.com/8enet/traceroute/blob/master/traceroute/extension.c#L101 Output should be '2/x: <hex>' At least JNPR seems to support this: https://www.juniper.net/documentation/us/en/software/junos/transport-ip/topics/topic-map/icmp.html - although support may be just QFX5100, documentation is ambiguous. There is also a patch ( https://lore.kernel.org/all/6a7f33a5-13ca-e009-24ac-fde59fb1c080 () gmail com/T/ ) for linux, but it's not included in the kernel. -- ++ytti
