Just imagine how this list would explode if BGP implementations would all of a sudden have their default behavior changed to include auto- negotiated MD5 passwords.
Bad analogy. A correct analogy would be that all the BGP implementations suddenly decided to get enter into a priority remote peering session with SpiesAreUs.com ... -- The fact that there's a Highway to Hell but only a Stairway to Heaven says a lot about anticipated traffic volume.
