Not that this is particularly network operations related, but... A quick Google search (https://www.google.com/search?q=Dell+Power+Volt+124T+red+hat+enterprise&oq=Dell+Power+Volt+124T+red+hat+enterprise&aqs=chrome..69i57.6018j0j7&sourceid=chrome&espv=2&es_sm=141&ie=UTF-8) yielded the User's Guide (ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_ser_stor_net/esuprt_powervault/powervault-124t_User's%20Guide12_en-us.pdf) which appears to show how to use the Power Vault 124 with Red Hat Linux. Dell and IBM historically have had decent support for their products with "Enterprise" versions of Red Hat, Ubuntu, and SuSE.
