We are in an interesting situation. Our call for hardware for Byzantium was
just laptops and USB keys, but we're also extending an existing Commotion
mesh, and trying to get a point to point connection to a part of the city
that has stable power and internet. Byzantium works without the special
equipment, but as we said in our talk, long range links must be improvised
on a case by case basis.
