I thought BGP advertisement interval is the following. ibgp : 5 second, ebgp : 30 second. But, now I realize that the default ibgp interval of Cisco is 0 second. (ios 12.0 & IOX)
On the 6500, this seems to have been changed somewhere in the 12.2SX line.
When did it change? ^^;
The answer to that probably depends on which platform/train you're interested in.
I wonder if No interval time for bgp advertisement would bring insecure network by flapping network.
More annoying, AFAIK, JunOS has a default update time of 0 for eBGP, and I'd imagine it's the same for iBGP.
